Day 01: Arrival at Chennai
On your arrival at the International Airport at Chennai, you will be received and welcomed by our representative, who will transfer you to a pre-booked hotel. Relax for the rest of the day.
Day 02: Chennai
On the second day of your stay, go for a guided tour of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. Visit the St. Mary's Church, Kapaleeshwar Temple, Fort St. George, National Art Gallery and other Chennai landmarks.
Day 03: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram- Chennai
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram and see the famous rock temples. Later, come back to Chennai for overnight stay.
Day 04: Chennai - Trichy
On the fourth day of your tour, drive to Trichy in the morning. Check into a hotel on reaching Trichy and after lunch, enjoy a visit to the Rock Fort Temple, Ranganathaswamy Temple and Jambukeshwara Temple. Overnight stay at Trichy.
Day 05: Trichy- Tanjore
Drive to Tanjore, and visit Srirangam. Tour the Ranganathswamy Temple. Stay at a hotel in Tanjore for the night.
Day 06: Tanjore- Madurai
Go on guided tour of Tanjore in the morning. After lunch, you will be driven to Madurai, famous for the Meenakshi Temple.
Day 07: Madurai
Explore Madurai, the ancient temple city for the whole day. Also visit Rameswaram, which is connected to the legend of Ramayana. Overnight stay at Madurai.
Day 08: Madurai - Periyar
In the morning, you will be driven to Periyar. On arrival, check into a hotel and later visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Overnight stay at Periyar.
Day 09: Periyar
Spend the day tracking the animals at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Take a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake. Overnight stay at Periyar.
