Day 01: Cochin (35 km/1 hour)
Taste of Kerala tour starts with arrival at Cochin International Airport/Railway Station followed by transfer and check-in to hotel. Proceed for a post-lunch tour across the Cochin Harbor. Arrive at Fort Cochin for sightseeing visits to Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Spend the remaining day at leisure and return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Cochin - Munnar (150 km/4.5 hours)
Early morning, check out from Cochin hotel after breakfast to continue the Taste of Kerala tour to Munnar. The lush cardamom and tea plantations on the way enthrall you with their sweet fragrance. Arrive at Munnar and transfer to hotel/resort. Remaining day is free to enjoy the picturesque beauty of the estate. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Munnar
The day starts with a sightseeing tour in Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare species of mountain goats locally known as Nilgiri Tahr. Proceed to Mattupetty Dam and Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town and the town market. Spend the remaining day as you please and return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: Munnar - Thekkady (120 km/4 hours)
Today, Taste of Kerala tour proceeds to Thekkady/Periyar. Check out from the hotel and leave for a post-breakfast tour to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival, check in at the hotel/resort. Relax in the day and leave for an evening cruise along the Periyar Lake to watch a variety of animals and birds at play. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Alleppey - Houseboat
Leave for a post-breakfast tour to Alleppey where a traditional houseboat (Kettuvallam) awaits you for an exciting cruise. Check-in at the houseboat that takes you from Alleppey to Kumarakom and allows you to get a real taste of Kerala along the tranquil backwaters. The next 24 hours are spent at the luxurious houseboat that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 06: Kumarakom
The houseboat cruise ends at Kumarakom. Disembark from the houseboat and transfer to hotel/resort located at the banks of the serene Vembanad Lake. The whole day is free to relax at leisure and the night is spent at the resort.
Day 07: Departure - Cochin (140 km/3.5 hours)
Taste of Kerala tour ends today and you leave for Cochin Airport/Railway Station to board scheduled flight/train to onward destination.
