Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Kalpathy Viswanatha Swamy temple was erected way back in the 15th century. Perhaps the oldest Shiva temple in the southern Kerala, it plays host to the biggest festival of Palakad, Ratholsavam, held in November.It is a 7-day festival.
