Overview
Our 4 day tour promises to give you some of the best holiday experiences in the wilderness of Kerala. The tour primarily comprises exploring the mesmerizing Wayanad. As Wayand is blessed by a unique natural topography, a visit to this green paradise is surely a must.
Owing to this, we have meticulously designed our tour to cover the region’s best natural attractions within the comfort requirements. This includes visits to the pristine waterfalls, lakes, historic waterfalls and various other natural attractions in the vicinity.
Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Calicut-Wayanad
The first day of our wild Kerala tour starts with the arrival at Calicut railway station. Here, our IHPL tour representative will take you to a road drive to Wayanad, which is around 85 kms from Calicut. Away from the hustle and bustle of a city life, Wayanad is a perfect spot for all the nature and peace lovers.
Being nestled in the lap of mother nature, the place has got some very nice and exotic attractions to visit. Once you reach Wayanad, you would be escorted to a resort, where you can enjoy your dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Sightseeing in Wayanad
As soon as you are done with your morning breakfast, you would be heading to explore the different facets of Wayanad. In the first place, you would be visiting the natural Edakkal caves. These caves are situated on top of the Ambukkuthimala mountain. Edakkal caves are basically two natural caves, which have pictorial writings of the prehistoric civilization inscribed on its walls. Quite intriguing and informative, the Edakkal caves are a must to visit.
To make your trip a complete nature’s affair, you can even trek to the mountain to reach the caves. Post lunch, you would be embarking on a trip to the pristine Soojippara waterfalls. One of the prime attractions in Wayanad, the waterfalls serve as a perfect picnic spot. Besides enjoying these attractions, you can also choose to get on an early morning or a night safari. After all this, call it a day and spend your night in the resort.

Day 3 Excursions in Wayanad
On day 3 of our wonderful tour, you would be exploring more of the beautiful Wayanad. To start with, you would be visiting Banasura, which is the largest earth dam in India. The dam offers a fabulous view of the river and the evergreen vegetation. As you would be done adoring the scenic dam, our tour guide will take you to Pookot lake.
This lake is renowned for boating and other recreational activities. The surroundings and facilities provided at the Pookot lake, make it one of the best hang out points in Wayanad. Post that, return to your hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 4 Wayanad-Calicut
This day marks the end of the tour. Before noon, make a check out from the resort and drive towards Calicut airport or railway station for your onward journey back home.
